Over the years I’ve seen pretty much all the podiatry business names imaginable, so I thought I would list as many as I could think of as a bit of fun.

It’s worth considering that some of these names may be in use, so before using one of these check it isn’t trademarked, in use as a limited company or already in use by somebody local to you.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that Feet Fixers is my business name and is registered as such. Don’t mean to be a killjoy but anyone using this name will be in breach of trademark. So just a friendly note to make anyone who is thinking of using the name that it could be costly to use this name for their business.

I was advised by legal counsel to never trademark a business name unless you are a large corporation like target because it can bankrupt you defending the trademark.

The are a number of ways to name your business. You could consider [town name]+[Podiatry/Chiropody] for example. It’s super relevant to your area, if it’s not already taken. Or [Your name]+[Podiatry/Chiropody] for example. Hope that helps. For inspiration you could try http://www.words-to-use.com/.
More than one person/business can use a trademarked name, so long as the class is different. For example, a beauty business could register as foot one and so could a sports rehab clinic.
I just did a search on companies house and the intellectual property office website. Feet Fixers isn’t registered as a Limited company or registered as a trademark in the UK.
The closest to it is Foot Fixer, which is a registered trademark of Clairol.
Are you sure you’ve registered your name and have not just registered as your name, trading as Feet Fixers? Because if that is the case, then anyone can come along and use your name that you have been trading under for years. Worth checking it out and getting it sorted.
